How do I convert a PNG to JPG?

What happens to a transparent background?
JPG can’t store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default). Pick any colour before downloading.
Will the JPG be smaller?
For photographs, much smaller. Use the Quality slider to balance file size against sharpness — lower quality means a smaller file.
Will I lose quality?
JPG is lossy, so there’s some compression. At high quality the difference is hard to see; for logos and sharp text PNG or WebP keep edges crisper.
